Donny Mills & Shane Van Boening Face off in TAR 17 This Weekend!

The following match has created a lot of buzz in the pool community:  Donny Mills vs Shane Van Boening in The Action Report’s 17th match streamed live on the web.  The match is set to be a race to 100 in 10-ball, and will take place over the next two days, November 7-8.  It will be held in Clearwater, Florida at Mills’ home room, The Crooked Cue, and Florida’s pool fanatics will definitely be out to sweat this match.

Shane Van Boening has been the “Golden Boy” of the new generation of young professionals in America since he rocketed onto the pro scene in 2007.  He came up through the BCA Pool League ranks as an amateur, and came out as a professional at the EnjoyPool.com 9-Ball Championship, finishing 2nd at the Riviera in 2007.  After his first taste of success, he went on to win pro events right and left over the next two years.

Donny Mills is another young gun who proved to be a “giant killer” in the recent U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship, eliminating many top professionals and ultimately finishing 3rd.  Donny has been taking on all comers lately, and is more than ready for Shane.
