The J. Pechauer Northeast Women’s Tour (JPNEWT) attracts some of the toughest ladies pool talent from around the region and beyond to their events, and coming up this weekend, Castle Billiards is sure to be stacked.

On October 10-11, the JPNEWT will be holding a $1,500-added qualifier event for the WPA Women’s World 9-ball Championships in China at Castle Billiards in East Rutherford, NJ.

Not only will this be a great opportunity for up-and-coming ladies players to take a shot at qualifying for this prestigious event, but pool fans will also be treated to watching many of the most talented players from around the Northeast… stop out to Castle to catch the action and support these hard-working players.

Some of the top names likely to be in attendance include pros Megan Smith (formerly Minerich), Morgan Steinman, Holly Sholes, Pamela Cimarelli, Caroline Pao, Supadra Boonpasook, My-Hanh Lac, and Junior Champion Briana Miller.

A number of the area’s  top amateurs will also be getting in the mix, like Castle’s own Rhio Anne Flores and New York’s Erin McManus, Naomi Fingerhut, Neslihan Gurel, and “Kiss of Death” - Gail Glazebrook, Borana Andoni, Olga Gashkova, Emily Duddy, Michele Li, & NYC Grind’s Alison Fischer.

However, Korea’s Bora Jeong, who recently won the JPNEWT Colorado Classic Qualifier at Hot Shot Billiards, will be looking to repeat at this event, and will definitely be a force to reckon with.

Ladies who are already invited to play in the World 9-ball Championships will not be eligible to play in this event.  All other female amateurs & pros will be able to compete.

Please visit www.JPNEWT.com for more info on this event.
