German Pool Champion Ralf Souquet Launches New Website Ralf-Souquet.com

One of the most dominant pool players in the world today,  German champion Ralf Souquet, has just launched his new website, www.ralf-souquet.com.  Currently, Ralf is ranked #2 in the world, according to the WPA (World Pool-Billiard Association).

Undoubtedly, many would describe Ralf (nicknamed “The Kaiser”) as an unshakable competitor, who’s nerves never waver under the high-pressure of world championship pool.  At the table, he keeps a stoic demeanor, not allowing emotions to rattle him.  

Apparently, this approach has worked quite well for Mr. Souquet, as it is hard to find another pool player with a list of titles as long as his.  I guess that’s what happens when you start playing pool at the age of six!

The level of consistency in his game is nearly unmatched.  If you’re looking to watch textbook-perfect pool–turn to the Kaiser.

To name a few of Souquet’s accolades, he is a former U.S. Open Champion (2002), a 4-time World Pool Masters 9-Ball Champion, and won the WPA World 8-ball Championships in 2008.  Ralf Souquet has in fact been on a world conquest of pool for nearly two decades.

Recently, he finished runner-up to Filipino Dennis Orcollo in the Predator International 10-Ball Championships in Las Vegas, held in conjunction with the BCAPL National 8-ball Championships. Click Here to check out our video from this event.

Souquet is also known for his skills in straight pool, as he has been racking up titles in that field since he was a junior player, winning the German 14.1 Junior Championships in 1985, all the way up to the U.S. Open of 14.1 in 2000.  

The next time we will see Ralf Souquet compete in the U.S. will be at the World Straight Pool Championships, to be held in Parsippany, NJ at Comet Billiards, August 24-29, in the company of other top names like Mika Immonen, Allen Hopkins, Thorsten Hohmann, and John Schmidt.
