“The Silent Assassin” Tony Robles vs. UK’s Karl Boyes in tonights Feature IPT Challenge match! Schmidt vs. Sigel in the undercard!

June 24, 2008

tony-robles-vs-karl-boyes-in-the-ipt-challenge-match.jpg
The IPT (International Pool Tour) has a blockbuster line up for tonight’s challenge matches to be aired live at 8pm eastern.

Since Mike Sigel was not going to be in the broadcast booth, the IPT was looking for a replacement that could bring the knowledge, flair and excitement for the game to the booth. Most of the world knows Tony as a consummate professional and outstanding commentator, and Tony knew that he would be a shoe in for taking Mike Sigel’s spot in tonights action.

In a turn of events, “The Lion” Alex Pagulayan lost his passport and could not make it to tonight’s challenge match vs Karl Boyes from the UK. To Tony’s delight, “The Silent Assasin” got the nod to take “The Lion” Alex Pagulayans place.
It is clear that Tony Robles has been on top of his game of late, including his most recent back to back Predator 9 Ball Tour wins!

Tony is currently the points leader on the Predator 9 Ball Tour and is poised to continue his winning streak on the international stage in tonights live 8 Ball Challenge match!

The undercard STRAIGHT POOL match will be equally exciting as Mike “The Mouth” Sigel wants to show “Mr 403/400″ John Schmidt that he is still the king. While Mike is a legend in the game, I will look for John Schmidt to dominate in the exciting match up.

___________________________________________
Tony Robles has been in dead gear lately in regards to his pool game. He has sacrificed a great deal to put together the Predator 9 Ball tour, which is a highly successful Pro/Am tour in the Tri-State area.

His main sacrifice is his inability to have the day with his son Jonathan on Sunday’s, which he has been a major source of joy for Tony for many, many years. This sacrifice was made with the intention to do all he can to help revive the participation of competitive pool in the NY area.

On this Father Day, Pro pool player Tony Robles captured the victory with his son in his mind and his heart, that was reminiscent to Babe Ruth pointing to the seats before hitting a home run.

In an extremely tough field of 50 Players including some of NY’s finest “The Silent Assasin” Tony Robles comes through big in the clutch in the ultimate Fathers Day Victory.

Tony Robles has a lot to be proud of, and on this Fathers Day Tony is proudest of his son Jonathan for supporting him in following his dream and gives back by capturing the Fathers Day win!!!
