Thirty-one players prepared for battle at the Blaze Tour stop this past weekend, which was hosted by Skyline Billiards in Brooklyn, NY.

Skyline Billiards is a pool-player friendly pool room that serves as a breeding ground of emerging top talent coming out of NY. The pool room is owned by pool players Rob Pole Jr. and Sammy Wu, who roll out the red carpet for Brooklyn players as well as road players alike.

On this day it wasn’t recently sponsored WPBA Liz Ford or house pro “Spain” Marc Vidal who snapped of the tourney, but rather Brooklyn’s own “Smitty” Dan Smith.

The Blaze Pro/Am 9-Ball Tour made its way to Raxx Bar & Grill on Sunday April 20th, and a strong field of 30 players came out to play.

Leading the top half of the bracket was Marc Vidal with wins over Janie Gerber 7-1, Dave Shlemperis 7-3, Pete Tascarella Jr. 7-5, and Pete Tascarella Sr. 7-3.

“The Hatchetman” Dennis Hatch is Golden in Albany

The JOSS TOUR hosts it’s 15th stop of the season at the Golden Cue Billiards Lounge in Albany, NY April 19th and 20th.

The Pro-Am event attracted 49 of the top players in the North East.

The notable regular players being “The Hatchetman” Dennis Hatch, “The Irish Invader” Karen Corr, Bucky Souranthong, Mike Zuglan, Ed Abraham, Tom D’Alfonso, and Dan Heidrich.

On Saturday afternoon Karen Corr was unfortunate in drawing an an inform Dennis Hatch in her second match, being duly dispatched 9-5 sending the “Irish Invader” west to the “One Loss Side” of the tournament bracket.
